Bone Hairpin 555. HUGE 8” long. Out of Gregory Perino’s personnal collection. pictured in Antler, Bone & Shell Artifacts, page 175. Very well-made and in excellent condition. If not THE finest in existence, it certainly would rank among the best. Found by Sy Sizemore on the bluffs, east of Hardin, Jersey Co, Illinois. Shell Ear Plugs 115. Each about 2-1/4” x 1-1/4. Pair of ear plugs found together at Carson Lake in Poinsette County, Arkansas by the legendary Arnold Moore. Whole, unbroken, and in great condition. A photo of the finder holding them is included. $1500.
