Bone Tooth 104. 2”. Drilled, heavily carved Large Animal Tooth. Uncertain of animal because the tooth is extensively worked and re-shaped. Small portions of enamel showing on both sides. Perfectly preserved condition. Out of an old Hopewell Mound excavation in Ohio by William C. Mills, around 1900. $250.

Bone Tooth 106. 2-3/4”. Double-drilled Bear Tooth. Glued, Fair condition. Out of an old Hopewell Mound excavation in Ohio by William C. Mills, around 1900. $150.

Bone Group 3. Ex-Gregory Perino collection. Four Plains Indians animal Bone Tools ranging in size from 7-7/8” to 4-1/4”. All show good use-wear and have highly polished working ends. One would be considered an “awl”, one is also an awl or possibly a knife, and the other with the drilled hole appears to be an arrow shaft straightener, handle, or other special purpose tool. This group also includes a very large, 15” rib-bone special purpose tool that was too large for this photo, but is pictured at the top of the group photo on web page 49. Found by Curtis Hintz on the Boley Site, near Bismark N.D. See top of Bone/Misc page 1 for more info. Group 3 (4 pc’s) $300.

Bone Tooth 107. 1-3/4”. Heavily Carved Large Animal Tooth. Uncertain of animal because the tooth is extensively worked and re-shaped. Un-drilled, in Perfectly preserved condition. Out of an old Hopewell Mound excavation in Ohio by William C. Mills, around 1900. $200.

Bone Tool, Ex-Perino. Large Bison Shoulder Bone Hoe or Spade Plains Indians Tool. Approx 13” long. Perfect condition. Has great use-wear polish on working end. Ex-Gregory Perino collection. Found in association with the bone group listed on Bone/Misc Artifacts, page 1 (it was too large to fit in the group photo). $350.
